Callie
Breed: Border Collie cross
Age: 2 years
Gender: Female
Size: Medium
Callie is a great girl who is full of Border Collie x Lab personality. She keeps herself entertained by hiding her toys and then finding them. She is the most amazing dog at fetch and would probably choose to play her life away that way. If you are looking for a superbly intelligent, fun filled girl, then Callie is the one for you. Callie is still overcoming some aversion to some dogs so she needs the right person and she comes with a free training session. See more photos of Callie

Jeri
Breed: Jindo
Age: 18 months
Gender: Male
Size: small
Jeri's a wonderful boy who has such a unique personality, everyone who becomes his friend can’t help but fall in love with him.
Jeri is good with other dogs but tends to come on strong with first meetings. After a few minutes of training by his guardians he plays wonderfully and is very tolerant. When with the people he knows and trusts is good when meeting new people. He can be barky with some people, especially if they are nervous of dogs, but with clear leadership and training and does very well.
Jeri definitely needs someone with experience who will make sure he is introduced to new people and situations carefully and will stay on top of his socializing and training. Cari is a wonderfully loyal and loving companion. He needs a home without cats but would love another dog to live with. A person who has experience working with nervous dogs or even better asian breeds could not find a better dog.
Jeri is very smart and will look to escape and has from his foster home. He returned home 5 days later, tired and hungry. Off leash training should be done slowly and safely.
Jeri is one in a million. There is just something special about him. When he was rescued from living on a 2 foot chain for his entire life completely without human contact he had no idea what life could actually be like. He could not be touched or handled by his guardians and as the days and weeks passed he handed over his heart and trust and for the most part is an average dog. Very happy, loving and affectionate we can cuddle and love Jeri all we like. We pick him up carry him like a baby and he accepts all types of handling with no problems.

Lady
Breed: Beagle cross
Age: 18 months
Gender: Female
Size: small
Lady was abandoned, left tied to a stranger's front porch with a note, "Please love me". That was it, just left there. Can you imagine how Lady felt being tied up, not being able to follow the person that was supposed to take care of her? Watching as this person drove away Lady was probably very panicky wondering what on earth was happening. Boxer Rescue was called and asked to help this little Beagle cross. Yep, bring her on over I said. Lady has a cherry eye and is not spayed. The cherry eye could be one of the reasons she was dumped so callously. She saw a vet today, has had her shots updated and will be spayed and have her cherry eye taken care of by Boxer Rescue Canada. She is a sweet little thing. She loves her Boxer buddy and is very sweet with my nine yr old son. She did show some perimeter guarding on our front porch, growling at people walking by, guarding the people she has come to trust...or maybe she just saw in them bits and pieces of the horrible person that dumped her. She will need someone who will give her a forever home and the stability she deserves. If you could foster her that would help her as well.
Lady is between 1 and 1 1/2 years and small - only 34 lbs!
She will not be adopted to a family with children under nine as we have no history on her.
