Distressed cows in transport truck

Hello Judy,
I would like to report a case of animal abuse to you. I called the police first (not knowing who else to call) and they referred me to Animal Advocates.
I was driving home tonight at approximately 8:45 on the #1 (travelling south from North Van, near the Lonsdale exit)and passed a large truck carrying cattle, doing about 100-120km/hour. One cow had it's head stuck in the grate on the side of the truck, hanging out, and was either dead or close to it. I was absolutely shocked and sickened by this sight and honked my horn at the driver repeatedly to no avail (of course).
I took down the name of the truck and license plate:
Gord Van D
Ft. Langley
License: 8895GW

Other markings on back of truck:
Cattle Drive
JDGV

I tried to find the name in the phone book to call and complain and ask these people if they routinely abuse their animals, but couldn't find it. Perhaps you could look into this? Thank you for your time.
