INTERNATIONAL PRIMATE PROTECTION LEAGUE - GOOD NEWS!

Thanks for such an interesting, informative website. I learned a lot. Thanks for all the effort you are making to help the animals. I am really impressed. What a difference a little caring makes.

I work for the International Primate Protection League.

We had some really great news this week- a big story on behalf of tiny primates. The Field Museum in Chicago applied to kill 150 small lemurs to do post-mortem genetic testing. We opposed the permits. Lemurs are all endangered and the Madagascan locals are not allowed to kill them- but the US Field Museum tried to do it- and to employ a local resident to do the killing. Their application was denied. Hurray! Things like that make you feel good, just as saving dogs must make you feel wonderful.
