This is the latest message from the SPCA regarding Odie:

I have been informed that Odie was being fostered and now that foster parent intends to adopt him. They haven't come in yet to complete the paperwork. I have asked John van der Hoeven to ensure that he receives a copy of the completed adoption from so we know the adoption is complete. I will let you know when that has occurred. We are not at allowed to tell you who has adopted the animal but I will ensure that it has been adopted into the right home. Foster parents are usually good adoptive parents. I regret this unfortunate incident. We have to do much better at tracking dogs in our system and in not letting them languish in our shelters.
