During the last year we at Four Paws First Canine Rescue have taken in at least 35 dogs from the Nanaimo SPCA. All were fully vetted, transported up Island to us if we couldn't make it down there and plenty of supplies came with the dogs. We have nothing but the outmost respect for all at the Nanaimo branch and appreciate the true heart felt efforts each person there puts out daily. Just a few weeks back we received two beautiful plauqes, delivered to us in person thanking us for our rescue efforts with them. One could not ask for better people at an SPCA or for better treatment and appreciation. The Nanaimo branch really is one of the best!
