Last fall a Maple Ridge SPCA staff member stated to me that they NEVER have enough moist cat or kitten food and are constantly running out!

The result is inadequate nutrition for special needs cats, kittens and cats with serious dental issues.

Is this providing for the "basic" needs of the animals within the shelter system?? Where is the money that is donated going, when even the basic requirements of food (and in Maple Ridge's case) and shelter are NOT being meet??

Only the SPCA knows for sure!
