Calgary Stampede

I think Calgarians are finally waking up to the fact that the stampede events using animals is brutal and should be cancelled. 5 horses and one baby calf died this year. It was about 45 degrees C on the grounds this year...one poor horse had a heart attack.

The woman from the Humane Society said she was satisfied with the way the animals have been treated...said it is better than previous years. Makes you 'wanna cry'
