Defining cruelty: it's all over the map *LINK* *PIC*

More questions about seizures: Why were the horses on the left seized, but not the ones on the right?

Animal owners can't know what the SPCA deems cruelty since some severly suffering animals are not seized and some healthy animals are seized.

This is like being pulled over by the police and being given a speeding ticket when no one knows what the speed limit is except the police and one day it is 100 km/hr and the next it is 10 km/hr, according to the particular officer.

And if you argue, your car will be impounded and it will cost you $20,000 to $50,000 dollars to get it back or it will be sold or junked, so you might just as well pay the ticket and get your car back at least.

It's not much good appealing to a judge because they seem to believe the police would never do this.

And it's no good complaining about the SPCA to a body like the Police Complaints Commission, because there isn't one for the SPCA.
