The National Post left this sentence out of my letter

The National Post edited this sentence out of my letter:

It is not hypocritical of Mr Fulford to eat horses; it would only throw his whole argument into disrepute if he refused for any personal reason to eat puppies and kittens, especially factory farmed puppies and kittens. And if Mr Fulford eats veal or foie gras then he should have no problem eating puppies and kittens.

Perhaps the National Post didn't like the image of one of its senior columnists eating puppies and kittens to be conjured up in readers' minds, but it is true that no one who calls animal lovers names because they don't want some animals eaten can logically object to eating any animals and that includes puppies and kittens. We suspect Mr Fulford wouldn't eat puppies and kittens. If not it is he who is the hypocrite.
