Fur belongs on animals, not on people

Mark Badgley and James Mischka must be living in a cave. In Canada there is no legal requirement for furs to be labelled "from the wild" or "from fur farms." Fur labels are not even required to list the species, so who knows? You could be wearing cat or dog fur or fur trim. After all, it's legal to import and sell cat and dog fur in Canada.
Whether wild animals are breaking teeth or bones trying to escape from steel traps or whether they are being electrocuted on fur farms, there is no excuse for wearing real fur and fur trim.
If Badgley and Mischka can put down their stone tools and access a computer, they can see for themselves several video investigations showing life on a fur farm. After footage like that, it shouldn't be too much of a stretch to extend compassion to all fur-bearing animals.
