Hear Hear!! I totally agree that the SPCA should hang its head in shame. What IS happening with the remaining sled dogs that Bob Fawcett was responsible for? Does anyone know?
My question is: Why is the SPCA invovled with investigating this case?? They shirked their duties last yr and didn't make the time to see if these dogs had their very very basic needs met. Why would anybody trust them to be honest and thorough now? I certainly don't.
The SPCA should be held responsible for NOT doing their duty last yr. If they had made that 2 1/2 hr trip these dogs may not have met the fate that they did. I guess in the SPCA'S mind (and I use that term loosely) 2 1/2 hrs is a monumental amount of time. Hummm.....I often drive that or longer just to do a home visit for a potential home. Sometimes it's an entire day if I need to go to Vancouver Island or the Sunshine Coast. It's time well spent if a forever home is found.
