Vegetarian Dinner (The Dogs' Dinner)
If you have experience in fundraising and are able to put an event together please let us know your idea. We can probably supply you with volunteers and even pay for all or some of the expenses. If the event includes food, it must be vegetarian. We know how much food-animals suffer and we can't ethically justify using other suffering animals to raise money for "our" animals. Every event is a golden opportunity to introduce people to marvelous vegetarian dishes and a golden opportunity to set an example of humane eating. Most people are delighted to try vegetarian treats. We would combine dinner with some videos and a talk about the state of animal welfare in BC. Do you know a vegetarian restaurant that might allow us to hold a dinner with some of the proceeds going to AAS?

Silent Auction
A silent auction with a vegetarian dinner would be wonderful!

Raffle
We can't hold a raffle until we incorporate in Victoria, and we can't incorporate as long as the SPCA is still suing us because incorporation requires more directors, and the SPCA sued AAS directors (even if they had never posted a word) and no one wants to risk being added to the lawsuit.

An Evening with AAS (or Dog Talk)
This would be a dinnerless version of A Dog's Dinner, just tea, coffee, (and if you're good and "come": and "sit" and "stay" and "speak", some vegan treats) a talk and video and questions taken.
