Anyone who has tried to reach the SPCA by phone know how difficult it is, many more probably give up. If the SPCA is to be the educator, and provider of knowledge, as its mandate suggests that is should be, better communications service must be implemented.
Solution: Examine the possibility of an additional phone line, e mail, or volunteers who would provide information from their home.
Symptoms: Many potential adoptee give up because they can not contact the SPCA. Others seeking information do not have access to it and animals may suffer.
