I believe that it was because a large group of people got together to have the board removed and to complain about the entire goings on there. There was animal neglect, overhousing, dog-fights, sick cats...... animal control contracts that were not being upheld, animal cruelty complaints either not being handled, or being handled by untrained personelle.....
